Changrezig

Avalokiteshvara with 4 arms. Chenrezig means “the one who looks with unwavering eye”. The Tibetans regard him as the Saint Patron of Tibet. Chenrezig embodies the compassion of all the Buddhas and is the most revered Boddhisattva. Its mantra “Om Mane Padme Hung” is seen carved on rock faces and constantly chanted by devotees. Chenrezig is white in colour, four arms carrying a rosary in the right hand and a fully bloomed lotus in the left hand, two others hands are joined in Namaskar mudra holding the “Jewel” which represents the nature of the mind.
